Indigenous Curriculum Specialist Workshop:
"Associations of Ornithology within Indigenous Sacred Story and Daily Life"
Through the analysis of a selection of birds, aspects of ornithology, including bird physiology, behaviour, and how birds live in their environment, are connected to their portrayal within Indigenous sacred story and to relevant components of daily life. Participants will come away with a deeper understanding of the significance of birds within Indigenous narrative and culture. Connections with: Biology, Indigenous Learning.
