From the Indigenous Curriculum Specialist: 
"Indigenous Ethnobotany and Medicinal Plants"
Participants will be introduced to some of the medicinal plants and flowers used by Indigenous peoples in this region and in other areas. Some discussion of women’s medicines will be presented. Connections to cultural practices and protocols, as well as links to plant teachings within sacred story will also be shared. Although this is geared specifically to faculty and instructors, all are welcome to attend.
