How will the impact of the internet and technology influence the future of work?

Join us for a discussion on the opportunities for innovative Continuing Education (CE) programming that can contribute to producing the talent required when the “end of work” has significant impacts on the “future of work.” This presentation considers the types of jobs lost as well as the types of jobs created and the role of CE units in transitioning the workforce.

As a labour market researcher, Anne-Marie Brinsmead’s presentation will address CE responses to developing the digital skills essential for the future with examples of concrete, actionable programming, examing upskilling delivery paradigms and exploring how CE units are becoming “entrepreneurial hubs” where adult learners “learn and earn”.
