PeerScholar Hands-On workshop

On July 15th, Professors Steve Joordens and Dwayne Paré gave a webinar introducing the “Formative Peer Assessment” process that peerScholar manages, highlighting the way it adds deep pedagogy to the activities you might ask students to engage in as part of your online course.

On Thursday, August 13th from 10:00 am - 12 noon Steve and Dwayne will be offering a follow-up online workshop specifically to provide hands-on work with those interested in implementing peerScholar in their Fall course offerings.  Come to the workshop with some rough ideas about the activity or activities you have in mind, and Steve and Dwayne will show you how to bring those ideas to life.  If you wish, you can all try building your own activities along with them, asking any questions you have along the way.  By the end of the session, you should have a clear sense of the range of learning experience peerScholar can support, and the way to make it do what you imagine.
