mycourselink/D2L Video Assignments

Presenter: Kim Knab

Date: Wednesday, September 1:  1:00-2:00 pm

Description: Skills gaps exist in part because instructors often rely on indirect evidence from paper-based assessments to gauge a student's comprehension level. Choosing or describing the right answer isn't the same as putting knowledge into action. In order to close these gaps, students need skill-building opportunities and timely feedback to help them improve. To this point, resource constraints have made it difficult for organizations to scale skill practice and evaluation using traditional methods. Video Assignments (available in mycourselink) enable experiential learning and soft skill development at scale. When students demonstrate skills and knowledge on video, instructors get an authentic representation of what they can do. Join us for a workshop to see how you can put your student's knowledge into action with Video Assignments.

Please register through LibCal.  The zoom link will be sent out the morning of the workshop.
