Whether you are wondering how you could have done it better, you are in the middle of an extensive literature search or you are planning to research an in-depth topic, this session can help.

The focus will be on searching health sciences databases including CINAHL, PsycInfo, PubMed/Medline and Embase.

Participants will learn about:

• Search syntax
• Subject headings
• Field searching
• Saving results and search strategies
• Translating strategies across databases

Note: This is a drop-in session (no need to register) that will be held in-person in our computer lab (LI-1003). Use one of our computers or bring your own.
