Practical Introduction to Research Data Management

As more publishers and funders, including the Tri-Council of Canada, introduce research data management plan (RDM) requirements, it is a good time to get up to speed. In this workshop, we will cover the basics of RDM and research data deposit. This will include exposure to resources and tools to support you throughout your work, especially using Lakehead Dataverse for your research data management.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • describe research data management (RDM)
  • recognize the importance of a good RDM practice
  • identify deposit-ready data practices
  • understand how to use Borealis (Lakehead Dataverse) for data deposit and open data publishing

Note: This session will be held online via Zoom. A confirmation with a link to the session will be emailed to you after registration.
